Pupils learnt in Habo’s usual creative way about different places in Israel. They learnt about the water shortages in the Kinneret as well as apple bobbing at the Dead Sea and even designed items to be sold in the Tel Aviv Shuk and when they realised shekels were worth five times more than the pound were all running around celebrating.
Batya Landes Head of Jewish Studies at King David: “On behalf of the KS2 pupils, I would like to thank you and the madrichim for running the Yom Yerushalayim Day in our school. Your staff were lovely with the children and we appreciate all the hard work and effort”

Rounders Fundraiser Event
We have also held a rounder’s tournament to raise money for bursaries on camp, tour and Shnat, to ensure that Habonim continues to provide for all who wish to take part in our activities. Not only did this event raise money for a great cause, but it was also a great day out which saw the Maccabi Ladies Team win the tournament.
