It is no exaggeration to say that our London activities have really exploded in the past 6 months. Since January, we have had 30 new kids join our activities. I think I can safely say that they have all had an awesome time.

Fun at the waterpark

During half-term, we took 15 excitable young Habonimniks on a fun day out. In the morning, we enjoyed a bonanza of sports including ping-pong, basketball, football, and trampolining. They even had a go at Zumba! In the afternoon, the fun continued at the pool and on the flume. At one point, I caught one ten year-old chanich lecturing their new-found friend on the merits of a Jewish homeland. We really do have some precocious young ideologues!
Shabbaton

A few weeks ago, 11 chanichim travelled to our shabbaton in south London. We enjoyed a great weekend including Shabbat activities, an adventure playground, and much more!

Baking for the homeless

Last Sunday witnessed the second instalment of our brand new club, ‘Baking for the homeless’, in conjunction with Tikun. 10 kids joined us to bake cheesecakes and rice krispy cakes for homeless people at the Simon community centre.
