For over 85 years Habonim Dror have been specialising in informal education, leadership development, social action and volunteering by running programmes which have transformed the lives of young people.

Habonim Dror are currently looking for sponsors for our annual magazine (koleinu) and our upcoming Manchester Supper Quiz to raise vital funds for our camp bursary fund.  Adverts and sponsorship offers the opportunity to raise these much needed funds to give our young people of today the same opportunities as generations before.

As a leading youth movement, we hope that you will support us by ether taking an advert in our magazine, or by sponsoring a table at our supper quiz – or perhaps both!

Our annual  magazine is posted to over 200 of our leaders, stakeholders and communal organizations and emailed to over 3,000 of our alumni.  Now in its 35th year of publication.

Banner (foot of page) – £25

¼ page – £50

½ page – £80

Full page – £150

Inside front page (p2) / or p3 – £300

All adverts are printed in colour

Due to the sell out success of our London Supper Quiz, on Sunday 22nd May we are expanding to Manchester and expect over 100 guests of all ages.

In return for sponsoring a table you will receive:

·     One table named after your company, with clear signs on the table

·     A full page colour advert in the A5 booklet we will be producing for the night – given to every person there

·     Your company name & logo on our parents & alumni email, thanking you for supporting Habonim Dror and the event, sent to over 3,000 people

·     Your company name & logo on posters around the room.

Cost to sponsor the Supper Quiz:  £200

There is a 25% discount if you would like to sponsor both the supper quiz & the magazine.

For anyone that may be interested in a larger sponsorship opportunity, we are also looking for a sponsor for our 500 camp tshirts.  If you would like to see your logo on all our camp tshirts, please be in touch to discuss prices.

Each advert sold and table sponsored will make a big difference to the movement.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Further information about Habonim Dror and how your money will help

We engage almost 1,000 members (aged 8-22) who take part in various activities throughout the year in centres across the UK.  Our activities are run by trained volunteers, overseen by only a small, but dedicated, team of paid employees. At all our events we run informal educational activities which are based on our values of Cultural Judaism, Social Justice and support for the state of Israel.  Most of our members come from non-Synagogue affiliated families, with many choosing to be involved with Habonim Dror as their only form of Jewish life.

The majority of our activities have a cost associated to them for participants, however we always strive to ensure that no child is unable to participate in our activities for financial reasons.  This has, however, led to an ever-increasing demand for participant bursaries and financial assistance across our programmes, which we struggle to provide. Approximately 25% of those who participate in our activities receive a bursary throughout the year.  However, unfortunately there are still many participants who are unable to participate as we do not have the level of funds required.  We need to grow our bursary pot to help families who are currently unable to send their children on our activities.  The larger our bursary pot, the greater the number of participants that will be able to benefit from our activities.
